Woman sought in Whittier attempted carjacking
A woman carjacker is pretty unusual, said Whittier Police spokesman Officer Jason Zuhlke. Police usually run into men carjackers. She walked up to a Whittier man coming out of the Circle K at 12604 Beverly Blvd. and asked for a ride to her car which she said needed a jump start. The man grabbed the keys out of the ignition and the two struggled over them. The wanna-be carjacker wrestled the keys away from the victim and tried to drive off with the vehicle again.
