Objective. We aimed to examine the current research trends published by the International Orthopaedics (INOR) journal using bibliometric analysis. Design/Methodology/Approach. Using the Scopus database, we have retrieved all articles published by the International Orthopaedics journal from 1977 to 2022. The key players, such as countries, institutes, and authors, were identified, and their collaborative linkages were analyzed using MS Excel and VOSviewer software. Results/Discussion. We identified 7645 publications from 107 countries, of which 40 were from Europe and 32 from Asia. The most contributing countries were China, Germany, and France. The Netherlands, Canada, and Switzerland were the most impactful countries regarding citations. Hospital Henri Mondor (France) and IRCCS Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute (Italy) were the most productive organizations. The most cited organizations were Harvard Medical School (USA) and Klinikum der Universität München (Germany). The most productive authors were Hernigou P (n=91) and Scarlat MM (n=56), and the most cited ones were Mont MA and Rouard H. The most active research areas were “Fracture Fixation” (n=1189), “Hip Arthroplasty” (n=1129), and “Osteosynthesis” (n=754). Hip received the most attention (n=2008), followed by Knee (n=1548), Spine (n=775), and Shoulder (n=517). 128 (1.67%) papers received >100 citations (high-cited papers or HCP) with an average of 150.11 citations per paper (CPP). Giannoudis PV and Mont MA published the maximum number of HCP. Conclusion. INOR has become a popular destination for global Orthopaedic researchers and is publishing their research from all the continents. This text results from research developed in the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Tiradentes University (Unit), in partnership with the University of Aveiro, Portugal, in 2019 and 2020. The objective sought to describe how the Visualization of Data (VD) is represented in the analysis of qualitative data with the support of Qualitative Data Analysis Software (QDAS). To achieve this objective, we reached the inclusion/exclusion criteria. Seven software frequently used today, trying to understand the most frequent representations of HV in QDAS, their structuring, and how they can contribute to the phases of organisation and analysis in a scenario that can vary from small to large amounts of data. The results show that the QDAS can help the researcher visualise the qualitative data analysed with transparency through data visualisation representations that stood out in tables, charts, maps, and representations with movements. During the analysis, it was also observed that each software offers representations in different ways. The type of user/researcher interaction with the generated representations has been an exclusive phenomenon of digital technologies, which visually improves how scientific production knowledge can better circulate knowledge production.

The article analyses co-authorship between Brazilian and Portuguese authors in the periods 1980-90 and 2005-15. According to the Web of Science, between 1980 and 1990, Portugal published 221,229 documents (articles, proceeding papers and reviews) and Brazil published 656,866 documents. However, taking into account the Category Normalized Citation Impact, which is the impact of standardised citations for the category, Brazil reached 0.76 (below world average) and Portugal 1.08 (above the world average). The article analyses the number of documents, knowledge areas, journals in which they were published, and Portuguese and Brazilian institutions involved while considering the investments that each country made in science and technology. When the two periods were compared, the number of published documents increased, and the areas of knowledge expanded considerably. The number of unique journals in which documents were published also increased as well as institutions that published in co-authorship. The \"hard\" sciences excelled in co-authored publications. The financing of science and technology and research and development in the two countries has increased considerably since the 1990s, declining in Portugal after 2008 due to the international financial crisis and declining in Brazil from 2015. However, international cooperation and co-authorship is fundamental to the advancement of scientific knowledge and the quality and visibility of scientific production.

Artificial intelligence in finance studies: Bibliometric approach to literature indexed in Scopus
Abstract Objective. This study aims to analyze the scientific production indexed in the Scopus database on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to finance studies between 2007 and 2023. Design/Methodology/Approach. The study design is non-experimental (transectional) and quantitative (descriptive). The most representative authors, the documentary typology that supports the results, and the principal publications were identified and analyzed. General citation indicators were calculated to ascertain the scientific impact associated with the topic. Spectral maps of country and word density were prepared to determine the main characteristics concerning these bibliographic variables. Results/Discussion. Notwithstanding the extensive temporal scope of the study, the application of AI to finance has not been evidenced in the extant literature until 2017. No significant contributors or highly influential journals are identified; studies are sporadic and consistent with the topic's novelty. Nevertheless, this subject has a high scientific impact, with an average of 20 citations per paper. Conclusions. The application of AI in finance is a relatively recent phenomenon. The countries of Asia and India are at the forefront of scientific production, as evidenced by Scopus's data analysis. The works analyzed exhibit a high density of terminology and a plethora of journals in the computational field that publish on this topic. Furthermore, publication practices manifest in the form of event papers, which are published at a similar rate to scientific articles. Originality/Value. The value of this study lies in its originality, which stems from an in-depth examination of existing literature on these topics in Scopus. This approach enables a comprehensive bibliometric analysis, informing future research in this field.

The term “equity” (EQUI) is a complex concept to be defined, because it depends on many factors, mainly political ideals. The objective of this research is to determine the evolution and development of the term equity in education by the scientific community. The main objective is to identify the scientific production and performance of the term equity in the field of education. The research method developed is based on bibliometrics, specifically on the technique of scientific mapping, and a process of quantification, analysis, evaluation and estimation of scientific documents was developed. The results indicate there is no established line of research or strong connections between the themes. This shows the existing variety of research on the term equity. Thus, the trend in research on the term equity is focused on the early periods of study on the students’ diversity in order to evolve to more concrete and specific aspects of equity, such as gender and race. It is concluded that the theoretical framework of reference shows how equity should be incorporated into the education system under the parameters of equal opportunities, of equality in access to higher education, regardless of gender or socio-cultural background.

Responsible higher education institutions have an impact on society and economic, environmental, and social development. These effects define the axes of the socially responsible management of the universities. The concept of university social responsibility (USR) manages these relationships to produce a positive impact on society through higher education, research, and the transfer of knowledge and technology, as well as education for sustainability. For this study, worldwide research into this subject was studied for the period 1970–2019. A bibliometric analysis of 870 articles was made, obtaining results for the scientific productivity of the journals, authors, institutions, and countries contributing to this research. The main category is business, management, and accounting. The most productive journal is the Business and Society Review, while the California Management Review is the most cited. The authors with the most articles are Stavnezer, Luo, and Lanero. The most productive institution is Wuhan University. The United States is the country with the most publications and citations, and the same country, together with the United Kingdom, make the most international contributions. Evidence shows growing worldwide interest in the economic and environmental impacts of USR. Future research should focus on analysing the links between the responsible and sustainable consumption of universities and their short-term financial, economic, and sustainable impacts.
