يتناول كتاب (صفحات مطوية من تاريخ الحركة الاستقلالية في مصر من مارس 1907 إلى مارس سنة 1909 : عصر الانقلاب الفكري في السياسة الوطنية) والذي قام بتأليفه (أحمد لطفي السيد باشا) في حوالي (280) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (تاريخ مصر في فترة الاحتلال البريطاني) مستعرضا أبرز المحتويات التالية : خطب سياسية واجتماعية حالتنا السياسية الرأي العام والجرائد، ما نحن فيه سياسة الوفاق نظريو الحكومة الشخصية ماذا يجب علينا علاقة مصر بالدستور العثماني، مقاومة الحكومة لطلب الدستور التعدي على الحرية الشخصية، لورد كرومر أمام التاريخ.
