\"ديوان\" بيت فوق سقف العالم\" يحتوي على ستة وعشرين نصا وهو جهد سنوات من الكتابة أراد المؤلف أن يوثق خلاصة تجربة كتبت عبر عشرين عاما. تجدر الإشارة إلى ان المجموعة الشعرية \"بيت فوق سقف العالم\" قد منحت الجائزة بناء على رؤية لجنة التحكيم لعدة اعتبارات فنية وموضوعية أبرزها التحام عناوين النصوص مع المتن، فيما يشكل العنوان مدخلا واسعا للنص، كما أن عنوان المجموعة يعطي دلالات عدة بين ما هو مباشر وما هو مباغت واستخدام الكاتب لتقنية كتابة النص الشعري الحديث والمغاير المتخفف من الرتابة والتكلف اللفظي، بتمكن ومهارة. كما حافظ على وهج الكتابة الشعرية وديناميكيتها البلاغية في أغلب النصوص واتسمت نصوص الديوان بلغة شعرية صافية خالية من الترهل ومكتنزة بالدلالات... كما أن الديوان يزخر بالكثير من الصور الشعرية المبتكرة ذات الأبعاد الجمالية المرهفة.
