يعد هذا الكتاب دراسة تمهيدية عن مرفق الجمارك الكويتية أصدره مركز البحوث والدراسات الكويتية في إطار اهتمامه بتوثيق كل ما يتعلق بالوجود الكويتي ورحلته منذ التأسيس إلى عصر النهضة المباركة وبالتعاون مع الإدارة العامة للجمارك الكويتية قام المركز بتوثيق بداية ظهور النظام الجمركي في الكويت وذلك بمناسبة الاحتفال بمرور مائة عام على تأسيس إدارة الجمارك الكويتية حيث أدى هذا المرفق الحيوي دوره بين منظومة المرافق والمؤسسات الاقتصادية التي أسهمت في الارتقاء بالعديد من الخدمات الحيوية لدولة الكويت.
