ديوان شعر دعبل بن علي الخزاعي أتى في مقدمة الديوان أن آخر خبر وصل إلينا فيما نعلم عن ديوان دعبل بن علي الخزاعي نقله من حلب في أواخر القرن السابع، مخطوط كبير القيمة ضم ما يقرب من أسماء ألف كتاب انتخبها صاحبه من دور الكتب بحلب، ورتبها على الحروف، ووقع الديوان تحت رقم 385. وكان الديوان صنع قبل ذلك بما يقرب أربعة قرون. صنعه صانع الدواوين المعروف أبو بكر محمد بن يحي الصولي.
