الشاعر موسى بن حسين الشوال الحسيني، من أهم شعراء عمان في عصر دولة النباهنة، وقد لقب بالكيذاوي نسبة إلى شجرة الكيذا ذات العطر الزكي والرائحة الطيبة، واشتهم بهذا اللقب تشبيها لشعره بهذه الشجرة وذلك بسبب رقة ألفاظه وعذوبة معانيه، وله أيضا قصائد متميزة في مدح ملوك النباهنة وبعض لمسؤولين والأعيان في تلك الفترة، وطرق مختلف الأغراض الشعرية المعروفة لدى شعراء العربية قبله، فكانت له شخصيته المتميزة وأسلوبه الجميل، الذي جعله مستحقا وجديرا بلقب \"الكيذاوي\"
