Overview
يؤرخ هذا الكتاب الإحتلال العثماني لبلاد صافيتا بالفترة ما بين (1516-1918م) والتي كانت حدودها شمالا ناحيتا القدموس والخوابي، جنوبا مقاطعة عكار، شرقا النواحي مصياف وحزور وحصن الأكراد وغربا ناحية طرطوس والبحر الأبيض المتوسط، كما يؤرخ أنظمة الحكم والحكام الذين حكموها حسب التسلسل الزمني الموثق والذي شمل نظام الإقطاع ونظام الإلتزام وفترة الحكم المصري وعصر التنظيمات الإصلاحية وأيضا القهر والجهل والتخلف الذي خيم على المنطقة ويؤرخ الكتاب محاولة العثمانيين تطبيق مبدأ فرق تسد وزع الفتن بين الأهالي وبعض الحملات العسكرية التي شنوها على الساحل السوري الشامخ.
