تبدأ رواية \"رجل بين ثلاث نساء\" من نقطة قريبة من النهاية للروائي عبيد إبراهيم بو ملحة وتتخذ مسارا دائريا فتبدأ من حيث تنتهي الأحداث لنقع على مشهد رجل وقد ارتفعت سيارته عن الأرض ويشعر أنه يطير معها قبل أن تنفجر ليفتح عينيه ويرى نقطة نور أمامه تخرج من نهاية نفق مظلم وغاب عن الوعي في لحظة لتحضر حياته أمامه بشريط سينمائي ويدرك بعدها أن حياته كانت بين حب ثلاث نساء الأولى \"ترنيم\" التي انتهى حبها في المستشفى وهي تموت والثانية \"إيمان\" التي بدأ حبها في المستشفى بعد وقوع الحادث والثالثة هي \"ليلى\" عندما أنهت حبها في المستشفى.
