Overview
يتناول (كتاب الكافي في تاريخ مصر القديم والحديث) والذي قام بتأليفه (ميخائيل بك شاروبيم) تلك الموسوعة الضخمة التي تقع في أربعة مجلدات : (هي التي ظهرت في حياته ولكن هناك جزء خامس ظهر بعد وفاته كما سوف نري) ؛ ظهرت خلال الفترة من (1898-1900). أما عن تقسيم الأربعة مجلدات فلقد جاء على النحو التالي : 1-المجلد الأول : مصر القديمة من نوح إلى الفتح العربي. 2-المجلد الثاني : الجزيرة العربية قبل الإسلام ؛ الخلافة ؛ الفاطميين ؛ الأيوبيين والمماليك حتى الفتح العثماني. 3-المجلد الثالث : مصر العثمانية حتى عام 1805 وتأسيس دولة محمد علي. 4-المجلد الرابع : مصر والإمبراطورية العثمانية حتى نهاية عهد توفيق.
