يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن صيد اللؤلؤ المناص في أحوال الغوص والغواص حيث في عام 1302 شمسي سأل سيد عبد الله خان (معاضد السلطان) ممثل وزارة الخارجية في بنادر جنوبي إيران عن أمور الغوص وصيد اللؤلؤ ولم يكن لدينا جواب مناسب لهذه الأسئلة من هنا بدأت البحث في محتوى هذا الكتاب ليكون فيه الجواب الشافي للأسئلة المتعلقة باللؤلؤ ومما زاد في إصراري على تأليف هذا الكتاب حيرة الكاتب الفاضل أمين الريحاني وتساؤلاته في كتابه المشهور (ملوك العرب) عن عدم اهتمام المثقفين في موضوع صيد اللؤلؤ.
