يعالج الكتاب لمشكلة الفقر ويبين إن الإسلام لا يقدس الفقر كما يزعم البعض أو إنه قدر يتعين التسليم به وإلا لما دعا القرآن الكريم إلى العمل وإلى اتقانه ولما كان لتلك الدعوة فائدة ولما وجدنا النبي (صلي الله عليه وسلم) يحث عليه ويقول فيما معناه \"لأن يأخذ أحدكم حزمة من حطب خير له من أن يسأل الناس أعطوه أو منعوه\" وقد بينا الأسباب التي ادت إلى الفقر وموقف الإسلام منها وكيف يجب على الناس أن يتعاونوا فيما بينهم ويتكافلون حتى يتحرروا من الفاقة بكافة صورها ولا يكونون تابعين لغيرهم بل يعمل الكل على أن يكونوا مالكين لقوتهم حتى يكونوا مالكين لحريتهم وقد بينا كل ذلك بشئ من التفصيل.
