ألف هذا الكتاب في يوليو من عام 2007م، وتم تحديثه في عام 2011م. والغرض من تأليفه أن تحل المعلومات التي بداخله محل الرعاية الطبية أو النصائح التي يتلقاها الوالدان من الطبيب فيما يخص التطعيمات، ولكن بهدف رفع الوعي والإلمام باللقاحات، ومساعدة الوالدين في اتخاذ قرار صحيح ومبني على أسس علمية عند البَدْء في تطعيم أطفالهم. ويتناول هذا الكتاب أيضا اللقاحات من عدة جوانب بدءا بالتعرف ومسببات الأمراض التي يتم أخذ لقاحاتها مرورا بجدول اللقاح لكل مرض، وكيفية تصنيع كل لقاح ومكوناته ومدى فعاليته والآثار الجانبية وأخيرا الرأي الشخصي للكاتب في كل لقاح.
