جاء في هذا الصدد في مقدمة المؤلف قوله : \" رمت في هذا الكتاب البحث في أصول البديع في التراث النقدي والبلاغي العربي، اقتناعا مني أن ذلك البحث هو نبش في جذور البلاغة الجمالية التي يغتذي منها الإبداع الفني بعناصر الإمتاع ووسائل الإبلاغ وآليات الإقناع. وهي وجوه شهوية يلتذ بها القارئ ويستمتع وهو يستكشفها ويجليها ويتفاعل معها، وتمنحه في الآن ذاته القدرة على القراءة المؤولة والمحللة والمعللة والناقدة... وهي قراءة ترفد من منبع التأثر والتذوق الجمالي الذي يخلق بين القارئ والمقروء علاقة تفاعلية ووجدانية متضامة العرى\". الكتاب يقع في 153 صفحة من الحجم المتوسط. وهو إضافة نوعية للبحث النقدي والبلاغي العربي الجاد. وللإشارة فالكاتب هو من طاقات مدينة ميدلت، وعضو المكتب التنفيذي للشبكة التنموية بها.
