يضم هذا المجموع العلمي ندوة دولية-واقع وآفاق البحث في تاريخ الفكر بالغرب الإسلامي-نظمها مركز روافد للدراسات والأبحاث في حضارة المغرب وتراث المتوسط، وكلية الآداب جامعة ابن طفيل، مهداة للمفكر المغربي الكبير عبد المجيد الصغير ؛ الباحث المتخصص في تاريخ الفكر بالغرب الإسلامي. ويتميز هذا العمل الأكاديمي الضخم بما يلي : الندوة في جزئين يضمان أزيد من 700 صفحة. مقالات علمية لباحثين أكاديميين من داخل المغرب وخارجه، مواضيع تهم تاريخ الفكر في المغرب والأندلس، موضوعات متنوعة في الفلسفة والتصوف وعلم الكلام وأصول الفقه. شارك فيها كبار المتخصصين في هذه المجالات. المقالات خضعت للتحكيم العلمي والمراجعة، تمت مراجعة الندوة من لجنة مختصة في التدقيق اللغوي، المشاركة كانت بثلاث لغات : العربية والفرنسية والإنجليزية. حضرها شخصيات وازنة وافتتح أولى جلساتها كاتب الدولة في التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.
