\"بلادك\" بدأ الكاتب الإيطالي تشيزاري بافيزي في كتابة رواية \"بلادك\" عام 1939 ونشرها 1941 وحدة وحب وانتقام تلك هي الخيوط الأساسية التي لا تمثل الرواية فحسب بل تمثل الحياة بأسرها وقد أثار نشر رواية \"بلادك\" دويا هائلا فى الأوساط الأدبية والفكرية لأنها تناولت ما كان محرما مجرد الإشارة إليه في تلك الحقبة كما أزاحت الستار عن أديب جديد وضع أقدامه بثبات وقوة في الأوساط الأدبية والفنية والفكرية فيما عرف بتيار الواقعية الجديدة.
