هذا الكتاب يسجل يوميات المؤلف عام 1947 م خلال زيارته لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط، التي بدأها من القاهرة، ثم انتقل إلى جدة، ثم غادرها إلى الرياض والتقى هناك الملك عبدالعزيز-رحمه الله- حيث أبدى إعجابه بهذا القائد العظيم ووصف أحاديثه معه التى دارت في أغلبها على تأييده طيب الله ثراه-للقضية الفلسطينية، وتعاطفه مع شعبها كما وصف المؤلف مقابلته للملك سعود (ولي العهد آنذاك) والملك فيصل (نائب الملك في الحجاز)، ولقاءه لعدد من الشخصيات المهمة، مثل الشيخ حافظ وهبه وفؤاد حمزة، وعبدالله السليمان وغيرهم ووصف الحياة في مدينة الرياض بأسواقها ومبانيها وأبرز معالمها.
