يستطيع القارئ العربي أخيرا أن يقرأ كتابا كاملا بالعربية للمنظر والناقد الألماني المعاصر هانس روبيرت ياوس، سبق لي أن تعاقدت مع المؤلف على ترجمته، فعلى هامش زيارته لفاس في 1994، حيث ألقى محاضرتين بالفرنسية حول صوره للتأويلية الأدبية في كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية (ظهر المهراز) وكنت قد قدمت له لمحة إجمالية عن حال النقد الأدبي بالمغرب خاصة وبالعالم العربي عامة، كانت عبارة عن قراءة شخصية لمناهج مقاربة الأدب عندنا ما زالت مقتنعا بنتائجها، وهي أن دراسة الأدب ومعالجة قضاياه ترتهنان بعدد من التصورات التي قد لا تخلو من سلبيات.
