كتاب يبحث في علم أصول الفقه على المذهب المالكي تكلم فيه مصنفه في دقائق مهمة في القواعد الأصولية الفقهية، وأورد فيه فروقا كثيرة في القواعد الأصولية المتشابهة والمتماثلة مثل الفرق بين القاعدة الزمانية والقاعدة المكانية، أو الفرق بين قاعدة الحمل على أول جزيئات المعنى، وقاعدة الحمل على أول أجزائه وقد أضفنا إليه كتاب إدرار الشروق على أنواء الفروق لأبي القاسم ابن الشاط، وهي إشارات وتوضيحات على كتاب الفروق وكذلك أضفنا تهذيب الفروق والقواعد السنية في الأسرار الفقهية للشيخ محمد علي بن حسين المكي المالكي وهو تلخيص للفروق مع التهذيب والترتيب والتوضيح في بعض الأماكن وجعلنا الفروق في أعلى الصفحات، وإدرار الشروق في الوسط وتهذيب الفروق من أسفل.
