المجتمع والتبادل هو الجزء السادس من سلسلة تحليل النص الفلسفي للكاتب محمد الشبه. لقد قام الكاتب في مناقشة كل من : أساس الاجتماع البشري، ظاهرة التبادل، التبادل المادي والتبادل الرمزي. ينقسم التبادل إلى شكلين رئيسيين : التبادل المادي الذي يشمل البضائع والأشياء المادية عموما، والتبادل الرمزي الذي يتعلق بالأفكار والمشاعر وما يقوم مقامهما. وهذا التمييز يستدعي ضرورة الوقوف عند حقيقة ظاهرة التبادل وأهميتها في المجتمعات البشرية من جهة، والوقوف عند التداخل والممكن بين التبادل المادي والتبادل الرمزي من جهة أخرى.
