صدر أخيرا المؤلف الجديد للكاتب والناقد محمد الكاس بعنوان (آدم يحتضر)، عن دار أبي رقراق للطباعة والنشر. ويأتي بعد إصداره الأول الذي يحمل عنوان «الذات والرواية». الكتاب عبارة قراءة في نصوص أدبية « ثلاث روايات و قصتين» منتقاة بعناية فائقة. أما ما يجمع بين هذه النصوص، فيكمن في قيمتها الفنية التي تستمدها من أبعاد كونية و إنسانية تشكل وحدة عضوية تربط بينها جميعها بالرغم من اختلاف الأحداث و الملابسات بحسب كل نص. ورغم أن الكاتب متمرس في الدراسة الأكاديمية المعمقة في مجال الرواية، فإنه أبى أن يسجن نفسه في مفاهيم عقلية ومبادئ منطقية، واختار بدل ذلك أن يتفاعل مع هذه النصوص مباشرة مستبدلا العقل و المنطق بالحدس والوجدان، مما مكنه من ابتكار طريقة دينامية في التعامل مع الرموز المكثفة داخل الكتابة.
