يتحدث عن البنيوية وكيفية تدريس الأدب في الثانوي والجامعة، ويناقش كل المشاكل التي بات يفرضها هذا الواقع هذا الواقع الجديد لكنه، وعلى غرار العديدين من أنصار التصور التقليدي للأدب، بدل أن يلتفت إلى أن العالم أمام حقبة جديدة وأفكار جديدة، راح يناقش القضيا من منظور بعيد عن روح العصر، لقد ظلّ الأدب على صلة دائمة بالحياة، وحتى المنظور البنيوي ظل مهتما بالحياة، بربطه اياه باللغة وبطريقة انتاج الفن والجمال، وكذلك يفهم بنياته وطبيعته. ولذلك، بالإمكان استنتاج أن ليس \"الأدب في خطر\"، ولكن التصور الكلاسيكي للأدب والفن هو الذي بات، مثلا في خطر، وليس من معنى لل\"الخطر\" هنا غير التبدل والتحول.
