هذا الديوان صبغته أنثوية يحاكي ثنائية العقل والروح وهو في ثنائيته يشبه قصيدة أيام الحب السبعة لمحمود درويش القائمة على ثنائية الوجود من حيث الفكرة والشاعرة مها كانت منطقية جدا بتسميته بأسفل النهر وقصدت به الأنثى عن دون العالمين، وشيء طبيعي أن يلحق بالأنثى توابع الحياة ومستلزماتها لتخلط بطبيعتها الأنثوية نسيج من طينة أخرى فكانت أسفل النهر عنوان مسهب بأقل التراكيب فهو الأنثى المشبعة التي بداخل مها وهو مكان التلاقي الذي لا عاذلين فيه وهو أصل الماء والعجينة الوجودية وهو الطبيعة النقية التي لا خلاف فيها فكل ما يخص النهر هو طبيعة حقيقية ربانية الصفة لا جدال فيها.
