تعد منظومة تحفة الحكام في نكت العقود والأحكام المسماة بالعاصمية من أجلّ وأبرز ما ألف في علم الوثائق والإبرام والقضاء، لسلامة نظمها، ووجازة لفظها، ولكونها قد اجتمع فيها ما افترق في غيرها، ولأهميتها اشتغل عليها أهل العلم بالشرح والبيان، وإزالة اللبس والإبهام، فوضعت عليها شروح عديدة من لدن المغاربة والمشارقة، من بينها: شرح محمد بن يوسف الكافي التونسي، وشرح التاودي، وشرح التسولي، وشرح ميارة، وقد بلغ عند أبيات هذه المنظومة (1698) بيتاً، وقد اشتملت المنظومة على سبعة عشر باباً. بين يدينا شرح وجيز على رجز الإمام القاضي أبي بكر محمد بن عاصم، استند فيه المحقق على شرح الإمام محمد التاودي بن سودة حيث تم حل فيه ما استصعب من المفردات، متوفياً في ذلك أسعد النقول بعباراته وأقربها إلى رمزه وإشارته، متجافياً عن طريق التطويل الممل والإيجاز المخل.
