يعتبر كتاب «الانتصار لأهل المدينة»، لصاحبه الإمام الفقيه «أبي عبد الله محمد بن عمر ابن الفخار القرطبي (419 هـ)»، من أهم الكتب التي ألفها المالكية في الانتصار لمذهب الإمام مالك، وأسهم إسهاما كبيرا في الحفاظ على استمرارية المذهب وتوطيد أركانه وحمايته من الآراء المخالفة. ويكتسي الكتاب قيمة علمية كبيرة كونه يقدم دراسة تأصيلية للمسائل الخلافية الاجتهادية، ويفتح نقاشا عميقا فيما يتعلق باعتماد بعض الأصول والقواعد. يرد المؤلف من خلال كتابه هذا على ابن حزم الظاهري زمن إرهاصات سطوع نجمه بالأندلس، كما نجده-أي المؤلف-حريصا على التحقيق والتأصيل وصحة الاستشهاد والنقل في المسائل التي عرض لها من العبادات والبيوع.
