هذه القصيدة الرائعة كتبها ابن خميس التلمساني (القرن الثامن الهجري)، الذي كان عالما بالفلسفة والمنطق والجدل، مدافعا عن حرية الفكر. وقد تجول أبو عبد الله بن هدية القريش في حياضها، وشرح ظاهرها وخفيها، واستقى لهذا الشرح من كتب اللغه والصرف والنحو، واستفاد من كتب التاريخ العام، وفتح مستغلقات الفلسفة بما لمح إليه أو صرح به الشاعر ابن خميس، مما كان سببا في اتهامه بالزندقة والإلحاد، ومحاكمته بهما في فاس.
