\"ابن رشد أو كاتب الشيطان\" هي الرواية السادسة عشرة للروائي الفرنسي جلبير سينويه التي تصدر عن \"منشورات الجمل\" وهي كما يعلن عنوانها تتمحور حول الفيلسوف العربي ابن رشد الذي عاش في القرن الثاني عشر الميلادي (1126-1198)، وتطرح الكثير من الأسئلة التي لا يزال صداها يترجع حتى اليوم، وانقسام الناس عليه بين مؤيد له ومتأثر به، من جهة، ومعارض له إلى حد إباحة دمه، ومن جهة ثانية فابن رشد شخصية إشكالية في تاريخ الفكر العربي، تأثر بسابقيه من أساطين الفلسفة اليونانية، وأثر في معاصريه واللاحقين به من أساطين الفكر الغربي.
