Overview
يهدف المؤتمر إلى تعريف طلبة جامعة زايد وأساتذتها بأهمية الوثائق في حفظ الذاكرة التاريخية لإمارة دبي، وتعزيز الوعي بأهمية التاريخ باعتباره أحد المكونات الرئيسة للهوية الوطنية الإماراتية، وتأكيدا على مقولة القائد المغفور له بإذن الله الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان : من ليس له ماض ليس له حاضر ولا مستقبل. كما يهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على المحطات التاريخية البارزة التي شكلت نقاط تحول في تاريخ إمارة دبي، ونقل الخبرات من المختصين إلى طلاب الجامعة في مجال حفظ الوثائق وحمايتها من التلف والضياع.
