Overview
يجمع الدكتور علي بن إبراهيم الدرورة طائفة كبيرة من الأناشيد التي تغنى بها إنسان الخليج في كتابه «الحداوي الشعبية في الإمارات والخليج العربي» الصادر مؤخرا عن وزارة الثقافة والشباب وتنمية المجتمع. ورغم أن الكثير مما جمعه الباحث السعودي معروف كأهازيج رددها الأجداد في بيئتي الصحراء والبحر، فقد اعتبرها «حداء»، والذي يعني الغناء للإبل كما هو شائع، ويبرر لذلك في تمهيد الكتاب أن الحداوي هي ضرب من ضروب الغناء القديم عند العرب، كان يردد للحث على السير أو إنجاز العمل، أو إبعاد السأم والملل، وهو يعبر عن الكوامن النفسية، ويكون عادة عفويا دون ترتيب مسبق.
