كتاب يجمع بين دفتيه ثلاثة بحوث : أحدها في مكانة مكة والمجاورة بها في كتابات العلماء، والثاني في أدب الرحلة إلى الحج وركب الحجاج. والثالث في الرحلة الفضلى إلى ندوة الحج الكبرى، وهي أنموذج عملي للرحلة الحجازية. فالجامع للمباحث الثلاثة مكة المكرمة: مقصد الحجاج والرحالة والعلماء والمجاورين،مهووى الأفئدة، وموحد المقاصد، والآخذ بمجامع الأرواح والقلوب وحاديها إلى شفاء النفوس. فموضوع مكانة الحجاز ومكة المكرمة والمدينة والبقاع الطاهرة وفضائلها، موضوع حي غض طري يتجدد ولا ينقطع بحجة أو عمرة أو مجاورة أو تأليف أو رحلة علمية ويأتي هذا الكتاب المختصر ليضع في الجدار لبنة وفي طريق التأليف معلما عسى أن يسهم في شفاء ما بالنفوس المولعة وما بالقلوب المترعة من شوق لا ينفد، وحنين تذكو جمرته ولا تخمد.
