تناول الكتاب الحديث عن مسجد الحسن الثانى بالمغرب،والذي قال عنه عبد اللطيف:يعتبر أحد المعالم البارزة فى العمارة الإسلامية الحديثة ، وهو نتاج جهد عظيم بدأ فى عام 1986م وتكلف ما يزيد على خمسة مليارات درهم مغربى، حتى تم افتتاحه على يد الملك الحسن الثانى - رحمه الله - بتاريخ 30 أغسطس عام 1993م ، كما كان موعد إفتتاح هذا الصرح الهائل مقصودا بحيث أنه يوافق ليلة مولد الرسول الكريم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم والتى يحتفل بها المسلمون فى كل بقاع الأرض.
