يتضمن الكتاب، الذي يقع في 184 صفحة من الحجم المتوسط، توطئة وجزأين، أولهما خاص بالراحل محمد المريني (1907-1988) ويحتوي على ستة مداخل وسبعة ملاحق، وثانيهما خاص بالمؤلف محسن المريني ويحتوي على أربعة مداخل وأربعة ملاحق، فضلا عن التذييل. ويشتمل الكتاب على عشرات الصور التي تجمع الإعلاميين المترجم لهما خلال مسارهما الإعلامي الحافل على مدى عقود من الزمن، من بينها تغطية الراحل محمد المريني، مبعوثا من راديو المغرب، للزيارة التي قام بها المغفور له محمد الخامس لفرنسا سنة 1945، وتغطيته مناسك الحج سنة 1947.
