كتاب ليلة النصر قصة الانقلاب العسكري الفاشلة في تركيا أشار قندور أنه في رحلة له إلى أوروبا قد نزل في مطار أتاتورك الدولي في يوم ال 14 من تموز عام 2016 مرورا إسطنبول من أجل زيارة معارفه فيها في تلك الليلة وأراد الاستراحة في شقته الصغيرة هناك ويتابع رواية ما حصل في إسطنبول من شقته القريبة من جسر ال15\\ تموز إذ إنه سمع مجموعة من الأصوات الشديدة والصيحات الهائلة والتي تلتها بعد ساعات رؤيته للجثث عند الجسر الواصل بين شقي المدينة ويضيف قندور أنه اتصل بصديقه المقيم في أنقرة فجاءه الجواب بأن يخرج من البلاد مخافة على حياته.
