يسلط الكتاب الضوء على مسار نضال المرأة المغربية لنيل الإنصاف والمساواة في مجالات المجتمع والاقتصاد والسياسة، وموقف التنظيمات السياسة والنقابية وكذا المجتمع من هذا التقدم، إضافة إلى تأثير احتكار السلط والمسؤوليات على المجتمع. وفي توطئة الكتاب، أشار الشركي اخناشر إلى الفصل 19 من دستور 2011 الذي يمتع الرجل والمرأة على قدم المساواة بالحقوق والحريات المدنية والسياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، وسعي الدولة إلى تحقيق مبدأ المناصفة ومكافحة كل أشكال التمييز، ومدى مساهمة عدم فهم الهيئات السياسية والنقابية واستيعابها لما ورد في هذا النص في تأجيج الصراعات السياسية التي بلغت حدا \"غير مقبول\"، وأضاف أن النساء اللواتي أصبحن يمتعن بـ \"الإنصاف الدستوري\" والذي اكتسبنه بالتضحيات والنضال المستمر، ملزمات بمراعاة هذا الإنصاف وإعطائه مكانته، والمحافظة على أهدافه.
