الكثير منا يقع في مأزق ويقف حائرا عندما يتعرض شخص لجرح، حادثة أو لنوبات مرض ما. عاجزا عن تقديم بعض الإسعافات التي تحفظ حياة المصاب لحين نقله إلى أقرب مستشفى أو عيادة طبية، ونجد الحاجة إلى الإسعافات الأولية في الشارع مكان العمل، المدرسة، الجامعة، المنزل، أماكن الرحلات والإجازات، ويأتي وقت يسمع كل واحد منا عن الإسعافات الأولية أو يرددها البعض دون فهم واع أو إدراك لها فعندما يتعرض أحد أفراد العائلة لأزمة ما لا تستطيع العائلة تقديم يد المساعدة والعون له مع محاولة العثور على فرد آخر يقوم بهذه المهمة ولكن د ون جدوى ورغم أن الإسعافات الأولية علاج مؤقت إلا أنها تنقذ حياة الإنسان في الوقت المناسب.
