قد قدم البحث خطة تحيط بأبرز مظاهر هذا الغزل واتجاهاته فقسمه على أربعة أنماط استخلص منه عرض نتاج الشعر اولا النمط البدوي الذي حافظ فيه الشعراء على نمط الحياة البدوية وتقاليدها في الشعر، والنمط التلفيقي الذي جمع بين مظاهر البداوة وطعمها بألوان الحضارة والتجربة الصادقة ثم الغزل المذكر وفي كل نمط من هذه الانماط أستعين بالنماذج التي تبدو اكثر تمثيلا له ثم استخلص من ذلك أبرز خصائص هذا الشعر فخرج الشعراء النجفيون بجدارة، ومن تلك الأنواع الشعر كالخمريات، المشوحات، التسميط، التشطير، التخميس، والمراسلات والخوانيات وغيرها. وسأتناول احدى المواضيع الكاتب في هذا الكتاب وهو (الغزل)
