جاء الديوان ضمن مشروع كبير ضم ستة وعشرين عملا مثلت أجيالا متنوعة من كتاب وباحثين من أعضاء الجمعية، وعبّرت عن عدد من المدارس والأساليب الفنية التي غطت مساحة كبيرة من المشهد الثقافي والإبداعي العماني، وشملت دواوين شعر، ومجموعات قصصية، وروايات، ودراسات، وبحوثا علمية، ومجالات أخرى من مجالات البحث والإبداع. الديوان الذي جاء في مائة وثلاث وسبعين صفحة من القطع المتوسط، ضم ثلاثا وخمسين قطعة تراوحت بين قصيدة ومقطوعة وشذرة، وغلب عليها شعر التفعيلة، في لغة واضحة ومكثفة جسدت الوجدانيات التي امتلأ بها الديوان، وغطت مساحة كبيرة من عمر وتجربة الشاعر.
