في ديوان عصيان يرسخ الشاعر ماجد أبو غوش مسيرته الشعرية، والتي تتمثل بانحيازه الى الفقراء والمهمشين والكادحين الذين يحترقون بنار الأرض، طمعا بوطن حر ودولة مستقلة لا حواجز احتلالية في شوارعها، ولا جدران تحاصرها، دولة لا سراق ولا فساد فيها، دولة تحافظ على انسانية الانسان التي امتهنتها قوى الظلم والعدوان، ومن يعرف ماجد أبو غوش عن قرب سيجد فيه الإنسان العادي الطيب المتمرد على واقع لا يجوز السكوت عنه، لذا فهو يعتمر قبعته، ويلف سجائره راضيا بالعيش الكفاف، لكنه في الوقت نفسه ساخط غاضب متمرد ثائر على السلبيات كلها.
