ديوان الشاعر كميدش بن نعمان الكعبي فجاءت قصائده فيه ذات ملكة توليد المعاني وتظهير التفاصيل، وكما جاء في تقديم الديوان للجنة الشعر الشعبي في نادي تراث الإمارات من أن القارئ ليعجب لهذا التدفق والانسياب الذي يلمسه واضحا في كل واحدة من قصائد الديوان، فأبياتها تتوالى في يسر وسهولة تشعر القارئ بأنه يستطيع أن يأتي بمثلها، أو قد تشعره بأن ما يقوله الشاعر يمكن قوله دون عناء، غير أن التمادي مع القصيدة يثبت أن هذا اليسر إنما هو جوهر الموهبة، وأنه ملك لصاحبها دون سواه، فتطيعه الأوزان، وتتأتى له القوافي وتلين بين يديه اللغة وتتوالى مفرداتها خفيفة لطيفة كالنسمات الرخية العليلة لا يملها الإنسان وإن طالت.
