عملية قيصر في قلب آلة الموت السورية، ذكرت الكاتبة الفرنسية غارانس لو كازن شهادة 14 شخصا ممن عاشوا عملية تسريب الصور، من بينهم الضابط \"قيصر\"، أو من كانت لديهم تجربة اعتقال في سجون النظام السوري، وكتبت على لسانهم في 171 صفحة كيف هربت الصور إلى خارج سوريا في العام 2013. يشعر القارئ عند قراءة الكتاب وكأنه يشاهد تفاصيل الحياة داخل المجتمع العسكري في قوات النظام السوري، إذ يروي \"قيصر\" أسباب أرشفة الصور ضمن العمل العسكري فيقول، \"تؤرشف الشرطة العسكرية أدلة حوادث الجنود ووفياتهم لتقديمها إلى القضاء العسكري منذ 50 عاما، ويوثق النظام كل شيء كي لا ينسى، لذلك فهو يوثق موتاه.
