يتناول كتاب (صبح الأعشى في صناعة الإنشاء) والذي قام بتأليفه (أبي العباس أحمد بن علي القلقشندي) في حوالي 1 مجلد موضوع (البلاغة العربية) مستعرضا المحتويات التالية : الباب الرابع ، الفصل الأول بعنوان في أصول تتعين على الكاتب معرفتها وفيه ثلاثة أطراف : في بيان رتبتها ومعناها وذكر ما يرادفها من الأفاظ، الثاني في أصل وضعها، الثالث فيما يجب على الكاتب مراعاته في كتابة الهدن وفيه نوعان : النوع الأول ما يختص بكتابة الهدنه بين أهل الإسلام، الثاني ما تشترك فيه الهدن بين أهل الإسلام وأهل الكفر.
