يضم هذا الكتاب بين دفتيه الأوراق والأبحاث والشهادات التي قدمت في الندوة التي نظمتها دائرة الثقافة والإعلام بالشارقة في مارس من عام 1994 تحت عنوان \"دور الأسرة في تكوين شخصية الطفل\"، هذه الأوراق تؤكد أنه رغم الشيء الكثير الذي كتب وقيل عن دور الأسرة، فإنه لايزال هناك الكثير الذي يجب أن يقال بعد عن هذا الدور في إعداد الطفل إعدادا تربويا سليما، والأهم من ذلك أن هناك الكثير مما يجب أن يعمل من أجل أن تضطلع الأسرة بالدور المناط بها في تهيئة الطفل التهيئة المسؤولة ليكون جيل المستقبل بحجم تحديات هذا المستقبل.
