يضم ديوان \"أراجيح تغنى للأطفال\" 103 من القصائد الصغيرة، منها : خيال الطفولة، القصة الطريفة، حوض السمك، المخلوقات الفضائية، لعبة الظلال، الفقاعة الجميلة، الطائرة الزرقاء، عشاق الأغاني، أغنية الحجر، نزهة حلوة، موكب الأشجار، ونشيد الجبل. ونجد أغلب قصائد ديوان أراجيح تغني للأطفال مصدرة بمقطع نثري يروي فيه العيسى للطفل القصة المتخيلة، التي خرجت منها القصيدة، وأورد على سبيل المثال مقدمة قصيدة رسالة اعتذار، التي صدرت بالمقطع التالي : أرسل الظبي الصغير شادن الرسالة الشعرية الآتية إلى عفراء يحييها، ويعتذر لها من التهام شجرتها الجميلة خطأ، ويدعوها إلى زيارته في البرية.
