يعتبر التدريب الرياضي عملية تربوية منظمة يخضع للأسلوب العلمي ويعتمد على القوانين العلمية ويهدف إلى إعداد الرياضي إعدادا متكاملا من جميع النواحي ودفعه للوصول للمستويات العالية من خلال الاستعانة بالأحمال البدنية وتعتبر رياضة الجمباز من الرياضات التي وصلت إلي مستوى عالي من الدقة والإتقان معتمدة في ذلك علي الأساليب العلمية الحديثة والذي أدى إلي ظهور مهارات مبتكرة وجديدة مع زيادة الصعوبة على الأجهزة المختلفة ويعتبر ارتفاع جهاز الحلق وحرية الحلقتين من صعوبات هذا الجهاز حيث أن عدم ثبات الحلقتين يؤدي إلي عدم ثبات نقطة الارتكاز.
