كتاب \"زهر الأكم في الأمثال والحكم\" للحسن اليوسي هو من أشهر مؤلفاته من الأمثال والحكم وهو يشتمل على ستة وستين بابا في سمطين، السمط الأول وما يلتحق به، في مقدمة وخاتمة وأربعة وثلاثين بابا وتسعا وعشرون بابا في الأمثال، رتبت على حروف المعجم، أما الأبواب الخمسة التالية، فهي في الأمثال التركيبية والأعيان، والأمثال القرآنية، وأمثال الحديث والأبيات السائرة، والسمط الثاني : يشتمل على الحكم وما يلتحق بها في اثنين وثلاثين بابا، تسعة وعشرون في الحكم المرتبة على حروف المعجم، وفي الأبواب الثلاثة الأخيرة، طائفة في الحكم المجموعة وطائفة من النوادر.
