تتخذ مجموعة (لكنك أنت يا آدم) من آدم شخصية العنوان الرئيسة، لتمنح المجموعة بعدا مطلقا يتماشى والمعالجات المعرفية لبعض قضايا الوجود والإنسان، لكن ما يلحظ على هذا العنوان أنه يتضمن عبارة استدراكية ذات معنى غير مكتمل. فالعبارة ليست ابتدائية، بقدر ما تبدو وكأنها استدراك على كلام سابق، فضلا عن دلالتها على ما يشبه اللوم والعتب، لكن الجملة تحتاج إلى خبر (لكن) لإتمام معناها، وهي دون الركن الناقص تظل مفتوحة على احتمالات كثيرة ومتشحة بالغموض المعتم، لكن المنسجم مع فلسفة الشاعر واشتغالها الفني في إرجاء المعنى أو عدم إيلائه الاهتمام المعهود. ويستعرض الكتاب في طياته المحتويات التالية : كل قيد على ما هو عليه، سلامة للجسم من العظام، عقدة هاملت، الشعور الجماعي الضائع.
