في سطور هذا الكتاب رحلة عمرها أكثر من سبع سنوات في مسيرة الذوق، رحلة بدأت بتغريدة عبر موقع تويتر الأشهر وسط مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، سرعان ما تحولت إلى فكرة التف حولها فريق محدود العدد آمن بها وتحمس لها، واحتضنها المسؤول الذي تبناها ودعمها وأسهم في تذليل الصعوبات، حتى تحولت إلى مبادرة (الذوق العام) التي مضت لتشق طريقها وتفرض حضورها ليصل صداها لوسائل الإعلام، وبعض المؤتمرات والمحافل الدولية والإقليمية، حتى أصبحت ذات كيان رسمي وهوية معتمدة بحصولها على الترخيص كأول جمعية سعودية متخصصة بنشر ثقافة الذوق العام، وتوجت المسيرة بإنجاز غير مسبوق بإقرار حكومة المملكة اللائحة خاصة بالمحافظة على الذوق العام.
