تتمحور هذه الدراسة حول مفهوم الذات البدني، وذلك بتناول النموذج المتعدد الأبعاد لـ Marsh حيث قمنا بدراسة التفاعل بين مفهوم الذات البدني للرياضيين ونوع الرياضة الممارسة، إضافة إلى دراسة التفاعل بين أبعاد مفهوم الذات البدني ومختلف التخصصات الرياضية. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 202 رياضي من ولاية الشلف، معدل عمرهم 21.6 سنة، قمنا من خلالها بتطبيق مقياس تقدير الذات البدنية PSDQ، وأثبتت النتائج أن نوع الرياضة الممارس يؤثر على تكوين مفهوم الذات البدني وذلك من خلال التأثير على مختلف أبعاده الفرعية، انطلاقا من الأهمية التي يمنحها كل تخصص لمختلف الأبعاد البدنية وذلك من خلال التفاعل النفسي الاجتماعي للفرد مع هذه الرياضة الممارسة.
