Overview
كتاب شرح فيه مؤلفه منظومة له بالاسم عينه، وهي منظومة لامية في علم الصرف، اعتمد في نظمها على مختصر الزنجاني ؛ المشهور بتصريف العزي، لصاحبه : عبد الوهاب بن إبراهيم الزنجاني الشافعي العزي (توفي 655 هجري)، وهو من المتون المعتمدة في هذا الفن. أكثر المؤلف النقل من لامية الأفعال لابن مالك وشارحها ابن الناظم، وشرح التسهيل لابن مالك أيضا، واعتمد في المعاجم على معجمي الصحاح للجوهري، والقاموس المحيط للفيروزأبادي. وقد سار في ترتيب الأبواب وفق نظام ابن مالك في ألفيته، وكان في شرحه ينحو منحى التسهيل دون تعقيد أو مبالغة في ذكر الشواذ. يطبع الكتاب لأول مرة من نسخة يتيمة كتبها أخو المؤلف الشيخ خميس بن جاعد سنة 1271 هجري. وهو من نوادر المصنفات العمانية المفردة في علم الصرف.
