فجرت رواية (مدفن الدار) لقارئها مجموعة من الأسئلة لما تطرحه من إشكاليات موضوعية وفنية، وتحكي قصة ثوار سوريا ضد قهر السلطة السياسية والاجتماعية ومحاولة البحث عن حرية لذلك الوطن الذي كبلته مجموعة من الخرافات والجهل وتحكمت فيه الأهواء السياسية والعقائد الفكرية والطائفية. والإشكالية الثانية التي تطرحها الرواية هي إشكالية فنية تتصل بالبنية التي أراد لها صاحبها أن تحكم زمن السرد بالرواية، إذ تحكي صدور فصولها الثمانية والعشرين على لسان (أحمد) ابن (أم الإبر) بدمشق فى زمن لم يتجاوز سبعة أيام بمنطقة (عرسال) في لبنان الذي يقوم بدوره باسترجاع تاريخ علاقته بالثورة السورية ونظامها الفاسد وانخراطه في إحدى المنظمات السياسية ومن ثم علاقاته بثريا العلوية التي تعمل ضد النظام وغيرها من النشطاء السياسيين، وهذا كله يمثل زمن الحكي الآني.
